A Time To Endure

According to the Holy Bible, before they kill you, they will starve you and subject you to abject poverty and humiliation. Betrayal and violence is the norm in this dark time that is to come where death is all we can trust.  How shall we overcome the darkness if not by faith?

Introduction

In this study we will look to Matthew, Mark and Luke to help us understand Revelation 6. So, let’s take a look at these references together in parallel. Note, we are using the KJV.

These are the signs of the last days.

Christ Conquers

The gospel must first be published among all nations.

Revelation 6:1-2	Matthew 24:14	Mark 13:10	Luke 21:x
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.	And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.	And the gospel must first be published among all nations.	NA

Here we see in Revelation 6:1-2 the opening of the first seal as represented by a man carrying a bow and wearing a crown while sitting upon a white horse who goes forth conquering. When we place these verses in parallel with Matthew and Mark, we see that this is the Holy Spirit sent out to conquer the Gentiles and to teach the Gospel to the nations.
